Private yoga sessions are for individuals from beginner to advanced. This style of class includes movement that synchronizes with breath and is integrated in a Vinyasa (flow). Asana (yoga postures) are designed to stimulate circulation, increase flexibility, build strength and balance the mind.
Group Yoga Sessions are for two or more who would like to participate in a yoga session. Like a private yoga session, this style of class is tailored for all practitioners, from beginner to advanced and includes movement that synchronizes with breath and is integrated in a Vinyasa flow to stimulate circulation, increase flexibility, build strength and balance the mind.
Medical Therapeutic Yoga (MTY) is the practice of yoga applied in medical, rehabilitation and wellness settings. It is provided exclusively by licensed health care professionals trained at the Professional Yoga Therapy Institute (PYTI). MTY uses researched yoga techniques to offer individualized therapeutic yoga sequences designed to educate and engage clients in the treatment, management and prevention of acute and chronic injuries. MTY was developed by Ginger Garner to “move beyond yoga and yoga therapy to create a new paradigm for yoga delivery in medicine.”
Yoga For Athletes enhance sports skills by improving balance, core strength and flexibility. Studies have shown that athletes can benefit by adding yoga to their training regimen. This routine works on flexibility, balance, agility, endurance, core and overall strength-all tools that help prevent injury and aid in recovery.
Research has shown that corporate yoga, yoga classes brought in to the work place, lowers stress, prevents injury, increases productivity, enhances creativity, improves morale, and decreases the frequency of sick or personal days. Corporate classes consist of of asana (physical practice) and pranayama (breathing techniques) into one's work day which can be transformational.
